Happy Birthday, Colorado Aerial Yoga!
We are celebrating our first year in business this month, and what a year it has been! We are grateful to have been so warmly welcomed and embraced by our community. We love Evergreen and also love providing a place for people to come together to develop strength, wellbeing and friendships.
New Faces
Our co-founder, Rebecca Kirschner, is in the process of expanding her fitness studio, Inspired Fitness, and has decided to focus on her exciting changes. We are happy for her and will miss her greatly. Inspired Fitness is right across the hall, so she’ll still be nearby. We are so grateful to her and appreciate her ongoing support of our mission.
In January, AIReal Yoga TM founder, Carmen Curtis, conducted a teacher training right here in our studio, and we are very excited to introduce the following newly certified instructors who will be teaching for us and developing new classes to add to our schedule!
Heather Scoggins – It was love at first pose for Heather. She describes yoga as “the practice saved me from me”. She believes you are able to heal yourself physically and mentally through your yoga practice. Yoga allowed her to find strength and peace within her body. By teaching Aerial Yoga, she will move your body to find length with strength within the poses. She graduated from Give Peace a Chance Yoga Training and is excited to use her Yoga background to enhance the AIReal Yoga experience.
Beth Williamson – Beth has always enjoyed movement through dancing, gymnastics, swimming, hula hooping, cycling and hiking. She is a licensed massage therapist focusing on Neuromuscular and Thai-Yoga massage. She earned her 200 hour yoga therapy teacher certification and is close to completing a 500 hour certification level for teaching hatha yoga and meditation. She teaches ways to relax and invigorate using the mind-body connection. Her other passions include sipping herbal tea, learning and experimenting with natural remedies, camping, meeting new people, smiling at strangers, playing with animals, traveling to new locations, and talking/laughing around a backyard fire.
Shelby Nichols – Shelby received her RYT-200 certification and has not looked back since. She worked with Carmen Curtis in past Wanderlust festivals. After meeting Carmen, Shelby knew that pursuing her passion for AIReal Yoga was the next step in growing her yoga practice. She began teaching in yoga around the same time she graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a double major in Communication and Spanish.

We are updating and refining our classes. Please check our schedule for class descriptions and schedules. We will now be offering the following classes with more to be added soon!
AIReal TM Intro to Aerial Yoga/Fundamentals

Our Intro to Aerial Yoga is a restorative class in its own right so is a good choice for anyone of any level wanting deep stretches and core strengthening without rigorous poses.
AIReal TM Aerial Flow and Stretch

This is a flow-style class similar to Intro to Aerial Yoga but with the addition of more advanced progressions and poses and deeper core strengthening. This is a good class for those who want to challenge themselves further or for athletes who deep stretching without the more rigorous stamina-building of our AIReal TM for Athletes class.
AiReal TM Aerial Power Yoga/Athletic Conditioning
This customized intermediate level aerial yoga class is designed for competitive athletes or anyone seeking to combine a rigorous core workout combined with deeper stretches to create balanced whole body strength and flexibility.
